Bathroom decor: Boutique hotel-inspired master bathroom

A simple palette of whites and greys, curvy shapes juxtaposed with straight lines and luxe finishing touches result in a lusciously decadent retreat.

1. Floating vanityTo keep the foating vanity from looking flat and clinical, recessed panel drawers were chosen.
2. Curved bathtubGlass-panelled doors lead out to a balcony and offer stunning views of Vancouver from the beautifully curved bathtub.

3. Get the look on a limited budgetFocus on creating a light, open space with minimal finishings. People get excited when they’re renovating bathrooms and want to use all these crazy finishes, which they think will create a really extravagant, beautiful space, but it’s actually the opposite. Keep your finishes to two or three and maintain a cohesive colour palette. And, while the expanse of marble tile is the big statement here, you could also use a porcelain or ceramic tile to achieve the pared-back look.
